Admission Criteria
A. Admission criteria for B.Sc. Nursing programme in College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal (According to INC)
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- The minimum educational qualification is 10+2(Science) or equivalent.
- Marks secured at the qualifying examination {10+2(Science) or equivalent} – Physics, Chemistry & Biology should be 45% for UR and 40% for ST/SC/OBC and passed in English individually for both UR & Reserve categories.
- Selection of the candidate should be based on the Merit of the entrance examination conducted by the respective states.

B. Admission criteria for M.Sc. Nursing programme in College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal (According to INC)
Eligibility criteria for admission
- The Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council Registration.
- The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of: B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc.Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- The Candidate should have undergone in B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing council.
- Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an approved Hospital/College/School of Nursing or a Community Health Setting/Programme after registration in the State Nursing Council.
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
